Meet The Doctor
Education is the foundation for any doctor. Dr. Patel earned his bachelor-of-science degree in Biology in May 1992 from Indiana University. In May of 1996, he graduated with his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the well-respected Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Dr. Patel moved to Atlanta to begin his dental career and worked as an associate for a large dental company. After being promoted several times, he accepted the position of Clinical Director for the company's largest office in Atlanta. Having worked 6 years for a dental company, he left to open his own office in Marietta, GA, in May of 2001 with a new vision for patient care. Since founding Dentistry at East Piedmont, the upscale private practice has emerged as one of the most renowned in Atlanta, with Dr. Patel becoming the Official Dentist of the Miss Georgia USA pageant.
In order to continue to improve and stay current, Dr. Patel and his staff are continuously attending the best dental seminars around the country. He is a graduate of the Hornbrook Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry Continuum. Only about 5% of dentists worldwide have completed this advanced course.
Additionally, Dr. Patel is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of Osseous Integration and the Northwest Dental District Dental Society. He is also Associate Clinical Professor for the Medical College of Georgia, teaching senior dental students clinical applications in his own practice.
