My whole family goes to Dr. Patel, including our six year old son. We love it. My son loves that he gets to watch a movie and I love the paraffin hand wax treatment. Dr.Patel is a GREAT dentist. Dr. Dee (his cousin) is also wonderful. I love this office and the staff. I especially love their up-to-date technology and relaxing atmosphere. This is the only doctor's office I refuse to change from since my move to Snellville over 3 years ago. They are personal and always there for you, even in emergencies. PLUS, they always know your name and are ALWAYS on schedule. Definitely worth the 42 mile, one hour long DRIVE! A++++++

 

I never thought I would say this, but I just had an amazing experience at the dentist! I am a certified dental-phobic chicken. A lot of people say that, but I truly am. I always feel on the verge of tears when I go into the dentist, and even caring, kind dentists have not been able to cheer me up or make the experience better. As a result I didn't go as often as I needed to.

That all changed today at Dr. Patel's office. From the moment I walked in and talked with Kristina at the front desk, I felt comfortable. She took me into a consultation room and listened to all my fears. She didn't give me a bunch of "dentist-speak" or try to minimize my feelings. Then Dr. Patel came in and sat down, no gloves, no mask, and just talked to me. He had such a genuine, friendly manner and a great laugh. He asked me about my concerns and took all the time I needed to answer questions. He even asked me about my travels! As he joked with me, I actually laughed. I have NEVER laughed or even smiled in a dentist's office before.

Then there was the exam. It was totally painless and very thorough. He used technology I had never seen before, and it was all so easy. I had a dentist tell me a month ago that I needed nine fillings. Dr. Patel used laser technology to detect cavities and he only found one!! He said I had "nice teeth" and that I was doing a good job with them. It was so nice to hear something positive instead of a lecture. I have NO fears about going back. Amazing dentist!!   Vicki

I've tried about four dentists in the last five years and this is the best by far.  I was hesitant at first because when I first went, the fancy deco, pic of beauty pageant contestants, the massage cair, etc. it seemed like it might be one of those places that push veneers and whitening and all that I'm a regular guy who just wanted a good dentist with a good hygienist.  With Dr. Patel, that's what I got. He's a nice guy who listens, does not offer anything you don't really need, and has a really competent and sweet staff.  All of that other stuff is there for those who want it, good business sense. I highly recommend this dentist, don't hesitate to try him.

I have never liked the dentist until coming to Dr. Patel's office. Absolutely everything about the experience is wonderful. I'd recommend it to anyone!

 

Dr Patel and his staff are great! The staff is very friendly and everyone knows your name. You cant go wrong with Janeime or Lindsey who are 2 of the best hygienists going. The spa like atmosphere is great as well, Sitcoms, chair back massage, even a paraffin hand treatment if you choose. He offers lots of options and goes over in detail as to what to expect. Not only is he very knowledgeable he is honest as well.  Much better than my old dentist that wanted to pull out my wisdom teeth 6 yrs ago, oh and I still have those teeth. Dr. Patel and his staff are just wonderful! As someone who has feared the dentist since I was a small child, they make me feel at easy when I am in the office (the spa-atmosphere helps too). They always explain everything to me, and have lots of patience. They are the best, and you won't find a better, more caring dentist in the Marietta area. If you are fearful of going to the dentist, Dr. Patel is the place to go. I was very fearful of going to the dentist after a bad experience in my teens. I had not been to a dentist in several years. I went to see Dr. Patel. They see you on time. He made me very comfortable and relaxed. He went over everything and explained the procedures to me. The office is very nice and soothing. I had headphones on and watched a dvd while he did my fillings. It was over before i knew it. This is the best dentist I have been to. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I also got a new protective splint
(NTI Type). I have tried to use other mouth guards in the past, but they are hard to fall asleep with them. This mouth splint is so much more comfortable to sleep in. I have migraines and grind my teeth. The NTI splint has helped with both. You won't find a better staff. This staff is professional, proficient, friendly and pleasant.

Dr. Patel and his staff are truly outstanding! I came to Dr. Patel’s office almost two years ago and remember writing my middle name as “whimp” because I had been so afraid of dentists. My fears quickly dissipated upon my first dental procedure. Dr. Patel and his staff make any dental work pain free. I was one of those who not only continued to get cavities in my 30’s but had old dental work needing repair and horrible front tooth caps that were in need of cosmetic work.

I discovered Dentistry at East Piedmont by searching the Internet for dentists within 5 miles of my East Cobb residence. Something about the Dr. Patel’s website made them my first choice. When I showed-up for my first appointment my dental health and appearance were in a word; poor. After years of failed dental procedures, fillings that fell out, crowns that broke off, infected root canals and many thousands of dollars deposited into various dentists checking accounts I had developed a well founded fear and distrust of the dental profession.

Dr. Patel changed all that for me.
