Single tooth dental implants are an excellent way to replace a lost tooth and improve your smile. Losing a tooth doesn't mean you have to have a bridge or something removable anymore. Choosing an implant as your restorative option means you have a more permanent restoration than a bridge can provide. Dental Implants take a little more time but are definitely worth the wait.
In the first stage, a tooth is extracted and the implant is either placed immediately, or after the extraction site has healed for a few months. The implant stays buried in the bone for a couple of months and a temporary tooth is placed on the healing abutment or a flipper (removable partial) is used. Once the implant has integrated into the bone and is stable, you see your dentist for an impression and a custom crown is made to fit over the implant. In most cases, an all porcelain crown is used. The results are natural, beautiful and long lasting.

On average, a single tooth implant costs between $4,300 and $5,300.
